Garden City Beach is located south of Surfside Beach, and borders Murrells Inlet to the North. The beach town community of about 10,000 spans approximately 5 1/2 miles of land. In this community you can do so many activities, such as fishing, crabbing, surfing, and other watersports.
Despite its name, Garden City Beach is not an incorporated city. It’s just for those who favor beach houses and condos over resorts or hotels, which lends the area a more private, and less hectic pace than other areas along the Grand Strand. The small resort town has a quiet, family friendly vibe. Many people choose this part for investment property, because it’s close to the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, without being a direct part of the action.
Aside of the many activities, mentioned about, you have in addition an abundance of restaurants, a pavilion arcade and so much more.
In fact, it is a great location to be in the summer because its long garden city pier is perfect for those cool summer nights. While the pristine beaches and beautiful waters are the main draw for this community, residents and visitors take equal delight in the many opportunities for shopping, golfing, dining, tennis, and relaxation.
